Mare Somewhere is a personal meditation on finding meaning and identity in everyday life. But, what does that mean, exactly? To answer that, it'll help to explain what this blog is not: This blog is not here to save you. It's also not here to sell you lavender scented hand cream and 17 ways to be more mindful. This blog is just a collection of my experiences, my thoughts, and my own search for meaning and identity. I don't have answers to hand you, I just have a laptop, cynicism, and a desire to discuss life's greatest pursuit: the search for meaning.

You don't have to feel lost to find meaning. Personally, I find new meaning all the time in different things, in different ways. It will surprise you where you can find meaning - for me, it's lighthouses. You can keep reading about that here.
